Natalia Gospodarik: «Sport in General should be present in the life of every child»

Natalia Wasilewska, Artem Kalachev, Vitaly Nechei… – are all talented graduates of children’s and youth sports school, who managed to assert themselves in the field of professional sports. Time does not stand still. Who of the local sports guys gives hope today, and what innovations have affected the work of coach? This and not only told the chief specialist of the Executive Committee, supervising the sphere of sports and tourism, Natalia Gospodarik.

Natalia, say, with the new year office football when it is liquidated. Zelva is «Messi» will be left without training?

– Indeed, the football Department, which operated on the basis of the sports school, will not work. But, despite a number of changes, classes will continue.

Since the new year there are two groups of initial training on the basis of specialized sports school of Olympic reserve football SU GFK «Neman». In addition, the equipment of two training groups is being completed.

Who will train young players?

– The coaching staff was not without changes. Classes are conducted by Alexander Urbanovich and young, but very promising coach Roman Zinovik.

How are things with the other sports areas?

– Departments of track and field athletics and handball work without changes. 6 teachers are responsible for the training of young athletes. In addition to training on the basis of DYUSSH classes are held in educational institutions of the district. For example, at school №2, Kolinkovsky school and Derechinsky d/s-school open sports classes. Students are engaged in an in-depth program. There are about 9 academic hours per week for training.

In the handball Department 4 groups were formed. For the training of boys meet Vladimir Directic and Alexey Sheyko. It should be noted that pupils of the last trainer on superiority of the Grodno region on handball among girls of 2006-2007 year of birth took the second place, and among young men of 2006-2007 year of birth – the third.

And in General, in comparison with 2017, the collection of young handball players ‘ awards has been replenished. Prizes were 21 more. At the higher level, the masters team handball «Kronon» – passed Sergei Zaharchik.

And what pleased the athletes?

– The number of prizes increased by three. Two athletes were transferred to the highest level of training. Is a graduate of Gennady Golosko Egor Minetz (trains to Grenoble) and athlete Viktor Buraka Andrew Mlynowski (trains in Lida).

Such sports result of year can be called successful?

– Quite. But we do not aspire to a large number of victories and titles, but to high-quality training of athletes. The main task of DYUSSH – to prepare and transfer to the highest link of training during the Olympic cycle (4 years) at least one athlete from each Department. Coaches exceeded the norm: only in 2017 6 young athletes were transferred, which we talked about above.

What are your plans for the new year?

– Do not lower the set bar. We will continue training athletes in higher education, we will try to involve as many children as possible in sports life. We are talking not only about the professional level of training, but also Amateur. After all not all pupils of DYUSSH become the Olympic Champions, but sport in General has to be present in life of each child.
